Oil separator

The function of the oil separator is to separate the lubricating oil from the high-pressure steam discharged by the refrigeration compressor, in order to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the device. According to the principle of oil separation by reducing airflow velocity and changing airflow direction, oil particles in high-pressure steam can be separated under the action of gravity.

Generally, oil particles with a diameter of 0.2mm or more contained in steam can be separated when the airflow velocity is below 1m/s. There are four types of oil separators commonly used: washing type, centrifugal type, packing type, and filtration type.
